This 10-day virtual workshop is meant to teach basic programming principles to junior researchers in psychology and neuroscience. Although many R courses are available, this course is specifically designed to show psychology students how to use R to accomplish common tasks for research projects, such as analyzing data from cognitive tasks. The course includes interactive lectures, sample programs, and homework assignments. Enrollment is completely free and students from all universities around the world are encouraged to apply. The workshop occurs virtually each summer from 2022– 2026. Each workshop has ~75 students at various career stages (undergrad, grad, postdocs...and even faculty).
